Hello!
I am Alessandra, a design lecturer, researcher and visual artist living between Glasgow, Kathmandu and Rome.
My background is in Art History (MA), Psychology of Art (PGCert) and Visual Cultures (PhD).
I am currently a Design Lecturer at the Open University (UK) and am working on several projects in Nepal, all involving designing with marginalised communities.
I am interested in co-making for social and climate justice, art-based research methods, permaculture, regenerative cultures, storytelling and geographies.
Photography is my visual tool for storytelling and creative research.
I am also a yoga teacher, practicing Vinyasa, Yin and Airo and interested in somatic practices for embodied social justice.
